![]() ABOUT THE DOUG ADAMS GALLERY Welcome to the Doug Adams Gallery at the Badè Museum. The visual and material culture on view in this gallery support the GTU curriculum and showcase this space as an integral teaching and learning resource. The Doug Adams Gallery serves as a laboratory of sorts, allowing students, faculty and the community to think critically about current issues and test their conceptions of the world. We are fortunate to share a beautiful Walter Ratcliff building with the Badè Museum of biblical archaeology, and strive to create a dialogue between art and archaeology through quarterly exhibitions and gallery talks. It is our hope that the gallery, which showcases work from outside artists as well as artists from the GTU community, will serve as a vibrant new addition to the arts and culture landscape on and off campus. A full exhibition schedule is planned for each academic year, with a dynamic complement of local artists and varied art forms. Exhibitions are integrated into the wider academic program and include related lectures, panels, and course collaborations. |
