RAHR-3020: BUDDHIST ART AND AESTHETICS BUDDHIST ART AND AESTHETICS examines the spiritual sources and doctrinal foundations of Buddhist thought and practices in the visual and plastic arts; we will explore such topics as beauty, creativity, and artistic truth as they relate to the Buddha image, architecture, folk art, ink painting and calligraphy. Museum and other site visits are planned.
