RAHS-4900: THEOLOGICAL CRISES & U.S. FILMS This course is an intense study of the pivotal American films that chart the development of theological, political, and social crises in America. Starting with D.W. Griffith's (in)famous "Birth of a Nation", we will explore some of America's most successful, acclaimed and controversial films and the racial, gender and religious issues contained therein.
