Located at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, The Center for the Arts, Religion, and Education’s mission is to encourage and develop programs, interrelationships, and scholarship reflecting the interface of religion and the arts. To this end, CARE serves graduate students and faculty, practicing artists, religious communities, and lifelong learners through the support of graduate curricula, public education, exhibitions, and funding of projects in the areas of research and publications, creative arts, teaching, professional development, ministry and institutional relationships.
