David James Randolph - Communications
B.A., University of Delaware; M.Div., Drew University; M.S.W., Yeshiva University; Ph.D., Boston University. He is currently engaged in research in the area of new worship, preaching and the arts with special reference to communication arts in electronic media and emerging culture. He has taught at Drew University and Princeton Theological Seminary and lectures and preaches internationally at centers large and small. He is Senior Minister Emeritus of Christ Church United Methodist in New York City. He is the author of "Meditations for the Millennium" in The Minister's Journal 2000, The Renewal of Preaching in the 21st Century, God's Party: Dynamic Worship for the 21st Century, and The Power That Heals. He has served as editor for the Ventures in Worship Series, appeared on the "Today" show and other media, and is actively involved as an advocate for human rights and environmental concerns. In July 2006 Dr. Randolph became President of Olivet University in San Francisco noted for its global education grounded in theology and growing in technology.
