Dr. David Steward is a retired Professor of Religious Education at the Pacific School of Religion. His academic history extends to Willamette University, Yale Divinity School and Yale University, Candler School of Theology at Emory University , and the Graduate Theological Union. His primary focus has been directed toward interdisciplinary studies—primarily religious education. Dr. Steward has been active in the GTU's Theology and Education and Interdisciplinary Studies areas. While serving as Dean of the Summer Session at PSR, he worked with Doug Adams to design the arts program. He also served for many years as Dean of Advanced Professional Studies at PSR.
