Eliza Linley - Architecture and Studio Art
Eliza Linley is an Episcopal priest, artist and architect. Her work includes arts ministries and pastoral care, focusing on the creative center where art and spirit meet. Eliza is associate priest at St. John the Baptist in Capitola, California, and also leads retreats and workshops in ministry and the arts. As a liturgical artist she is a silk painter and "visual preacher", connecting sacred texts and themes with meaning in our daily lives. She designs hangings for temporary and seasonal use as well as liturgical vestments, recently completing a series of 18 silk paintings for the CIRCLE, Stanford's new Interfaith Center. She is a founding member of the Episcopal Church in the Visual Arts and chair of the board of trustees of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific.
