Dr. Michael Morris, O.P. is a Professor of Religion and the Arts at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology. B.F.A., University of Southern California; B.A., M.Div., St. Albert's College; M.A., Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley. He has recently written articles and essays for scholarly and popular journals, and given papers at the Mariological Society of America and the Society for Catholic Liturgy. He is the founding director of the Santa Fe Institute in Berkeley for the study of Catholic theology, liturgy, arts and culture, which has been filmed for T.V. documentaries. His research interests are Christian iconography, film, apocalyptic images and writings, biography, the Bible and art.
